Conformal Coating III~V

“3 conformal coating” refers to a type of low-viscosity fluid used to protect “printed circuit boards” and related “electronic components” from environmental erosion. According to the usage requirements of the region and manufacturer, “3 conformal coating” is often called covering adhesive, moisture-proof adhesive, insulating adhesive. It has the performances of moisture-proof, dust-proof, and chemical liquid-proof, and can improve the circuit board reliability.

"4/5 conformal coating" is based on the utilization of “3 conformal coating”, and then expands the performance of the material, such as "anti-salt", "anti-sulfur", "anti-salt + anti-salt".

According to the performance of materials, conformal coating can be divided into the following categories.

EO404U is a UV-curable conformal coating based on acrylic resin. It is solvent-free and has low viscosity, making it suitable for both single UV curing and dual curing (UV + moisture). Under UV exposure, it cures rapidly. In shadowed or non-illuminated areas, curing is completed through ambient moisture at room temperature. Once cured, EO404U forms a dense protective film that provides: electrical insulation, dust resistance, moisture protection and chemical resistance. It is ideal for protecting circuit boards in electrical and electronic devices.

It is RoHS-compliant, features low odor, and is safe for use in PCB component rework.   Apply directly to the coated surface, let sit for 30–60 minutes, then wipe clean using a lint-free cloth soaked with the remover.
