【Growth Camp】How to Successfully Lead a Team

A good leader is crucial to a company, but a great company won't just have one leader!
In this class, the instructor shared with the GTA Material family that everyone has the potential to be a leader for themselves and their teams!

What was most touching was that the leader of GTA Material, our chairman, personally attended every session of the course!

At the start of the course, the instructor helped us identify our own teams, fostering a sense of belonging and recognition within the team.

Later, we were tasked with creating our own team rules and desired company standards. Each team presented their ideas to persuade everyone to choose them. In the end, a vote was held to decide the company-wide work rules and standards.

Everyone listened attentively to each team's presentation and cast their votes with great care and consideration.

In the middle of the course, the instructor guided us on the importance of praise and encouragement. We were asked to find five colleagues, and each of them would give us three compliments, totaling 15 positive traits others see in us!

Everyone bravely approached the chairman to seek encouragement and compliments as well!

The instructor also taught us to use the STAR/STAR AR principle to praise every individual in the team!

At the end of the course, the instructor asked each team to create their own "circle of strengths." Each member wrote down the qualities they believed could help the team and shared them with everyone in the team.

Everyone in the team then provided feedback to each person, sharing how they believed that person's strengths could contribute to the team's success!
Each group gathered together, engaging in lively and passionate discussions!

Finally, of course, it was time for a group photo with the GTA Material family and the wonderful instructor!

This course taught everyone a lot. Supervisors learned the importance of communication, while all colleagues understood the necessity of praise and encouragement. It also taught everyone the value of expressing their thoughts and suggestions at the right time. Moreover, the course helped the company establish the "Team Megaphone" tool, which ensures that everyone in the company knows the efforts and contributions made by each department and team. This, in turn, helps GTA Material progress even further!
